Eden Shore Based Wharf Crane

This five ton hand powered derrick crane was erected on the shore area near Eden Wharf around 1910. It was used to assist in the loading and unloading of cargo shipped in and out of the port. The crane was joined by a tramway track to another crane located at the end of the wharf.
